Cozy Hound.

We learned about these coats from our friends at You Did What With Your Weiner

We have two problems: First a nearly bald wiener, and second: an average winter temperature of -13°C (or around 9°f for you Fahreheit users).

We’ve already discussed Eleanor’s winter coats here, but after reading YDWWYW’s review I really wanted to give these coats a try!

For an in depth review please read the link above, but I would like to add a bit!

This is not a good coat for an Ottawa winter as it doesn’t cover her belly or sides enough, but it is a fabulous sweater! It’s perfect for taking her out for a quick bathroom break or for lounging on the couch. It’s so easy to put on and take off compared to her heavy duty coats.

The crafters are delightful to do business with and really know what will work best for your dog. They even give you a great choice of fabric and will guide you to pick what will look best. Service was quick, shipping was fast, but the best part was the cost. They are so ridiculously reasonable! Even the shipping to Canada was low!

We’ll definitely be recommending these to our doxie friends here and likely going to order one for Eleanor’s doggie cousins.

  3. That is one snazzy sweater. For something that will cover Eleanor’s delicate little belly in freezing temperatures try Chilly Dogs of VoyagersK9. We haven’t tried either but we are thinking about it.

Oh lala! That’s one snazzy looking dog. I agree that it might not be best for Canadian winters, but definitely for Spring (which I am hoping will come sooner than later!).
